The Threadlift and mini facelift procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. The procedure takes less than two hours to perform and the incisions and approaches are hidden in the scalp and behind the ear. Who is a Candidate?

The ThreadLift™ is a suture based, percutaneous, non incisional, non-surgical facelift procedure, pioneered by Dr. Mulholland. A Mini Lift involves removal of a small amount of loose skin from the jowl and upper neck with “stealth” incisions hidden inside and behind the ear. ThreadLift™ candidates include all those individuals with aging signs of the face, including laxity and droopiness of the skin of the brow, cheeks, jowls and neck.

What are the intended results?

What is the recuperation and healing for a Threadlift or mini facelift?

The 24 hour, skin only ThreadLift™ or mini face lift has minimal downtime. You can most often apply make up and return to work after 5-7 days. Rarely, you may experience swelling and bruising and may need to take several more days off work and normal activities. In general, your skin will feel quite swollen and tight for 2 – 3 days after the procedure and there may be slight redness and bruising for a few days and some minor swelling for 24 – 48 hours. The Combined ThreadLift™ and mini-facelift is an excellent, non-surgical lift effect but, does require 1 – 2 weeks until you look acceptable in makeup.

The ThreadLift™ effects will continue for up to 3 – 7 years, (depending on the type of ThreadLift™ and mini facelift done) at which point a second procedure may be performed if desired.
