When I was asked to put into words my feelings toward SpaMedica I was so happy to do so, but realized that sometimes words can't convey all that one feels….but words it is!

I have known and worked with SpaMedica for over 10 years now.

My story maybe a little different from most, I was born with a Lymphangiomic tumor in my left cheek. This benign type of tumor presented at age 3-4. Thirteen or fourteen surgeries followed to try and resect the tumor over 15yrs. Most of these surgeries were unsuccessful, some partially but none completely. That number of surgeries in a young life is not only physically traumatizing but emotionally as well. The visual result of this tumor was a swelling in the cheek that left me with a significant imbalance in my face. The unforgiving eye of the camera served to dramatically magnify the problem.

After some success with one of the last surgeons, life did get a lot more normal until in my thirties… the tumor was back…just in time to thwart a TV career I had been working toward. To compound problems my previous surgeon had retired.

After meeting with several surgeons who felt they couldn't help me it was suggested I visit SpaMedica.

From the moment I walked into SpaMedica I felt an odd sense of safety and calm. SpaMedica's team of polished, polite and sincere professionals starts at the front door and continues to every Doctor, Nurse and Administrator.

With time ticking on a TV audition, and my panic meter rising, I went to SpaMedica. It was suggested using a non invasive approach to my problem. He built around the tumor. Using a simple syringe, his talented hand and keen eye for the aesthetic…HE FIXED IT!

With a combination of Botox to relax facial muscles into place, fillers to build up the area and photo facials to balance my skin tone, the problem was gone to both me and to the unforgiving eye of the camera.

I walked into my audition with a confidence I hadn't had before…nailed it- and won a design/host position on Canada's wildly popular TV show Restaurant Makeover. RMO airs in 32 different countries and has helped me take my biz to an international level. I have my own show in development and a base of great fans that routinely stop me on the street to tell me how much they appreciate my work…they no longer stop and ask who hit me or why my cheek was swollen.
