News: Call it Brotox?
Bloomberg has reported that Botox injectables manufacturer Allergan Plc will soon be marketing its product to men.
While traditionally Botox injectables have been used mostly by women, this new campaign will feature television commercials targeted directly at the male market. Simultaneously they will be expanding their customer loyalty program.
“These things among others have taken years to build, are difficult to replicate and give us a major competitive advantage,” said Bill Meury, the company’s chief commercial officer.
We think it’s great that Allergan Plc will be expanding its target demographic. At SpaMedica we treat lots of different patients; both men and women. We’re also pretty excited to see what creative ideas they come up with for the campaign!
