Phase 4 of Your Breast Augmentation Journey: Decision Making
You’ve done your research, you’ve met with the surgeon, your questions have been answered, and you’ve seen what your new breasts will look like. Now it’s decision time.
Deciding while all the details are fresh in your mind is a good idea. As time passes, details tend to get hazy and it’s more difficult to make a decision.
Typically there are three steps to this phase.
- Discussion with your spouse and/or children. Women typically want the back-up and support of those closest to them. You need to decide if that is important or relevant to you. You also need to think about what you will do if they don’t get on board.
- Next you will need to review your finances and the options for financing and make sure the procedure is doable.
- Lastly, once the decision is made you need to really commit and get the procedure booked. Why rush into action? Life is busy. As time passes you will get distracted and it may not end up happening. Maybe that is OK. But if you are sure you want this and are excited to see your newly transformed breasts, then it is best to get it locked in.
In this phase, many women have already processed the facts and are now at the stage where they have to go with their gut. At this phase, you usually know if you are going to pass or if this is something you need to do for yourself.
Now that your decision is made, the next phase is planning. Stay tuned for details on the planning phase – including some key timing insights!
