What is Fractora V

It is normal for vaginal structures to sag and become more lax due to aging, weight loss, and pregnancy. The loss of estrogen affects the lining and strength of the vaginal canal and also causes dryness, discharge, urinary incontinence, and pain during intimacy.

The Fractora V is a unique vaginal rejuvenation device, co-developed by Dr. Mulholland, that improves vaginal laxity and enhances tightening. Fractora V is a perfect solution to vaginal tightening, decreased urinary incontinence and more fulfilling, gratifying sexual intimacy and stimulation.

Who is a Fractora V Candidate?

The Fractora V treatments are ideal for women with vaginal structures that are sagging and becoming more lax due to aging, weight loss, and/or pregnancy. The vaginal rejuvenation treatment will improve appearance, tightness and lead to more fulfilling intimacy.

Because the treatment is gentle and non-surgical, most women who wish to rejuvenate their vagina are good candidates for Fractora V.

At SpaMedica, we will match the right technology and device to your vaginal needs. In addition to Fractora V, SpaMedica offers the Mona Lisa Touch and Core Intima fractional CO2 for properly selected patients, as well as the ThermiVA and Femme360, to ensure you get the best possible results.

How is Fractora V Performed by Dr. Sasha?

Fractora V treatments are performed without topical anesthetic cream and nitrous oxide (laughing gas). The SpaMedica energy technician applies the Fractora V to the treatment area.

The vaginal rejuvenation device has an array of very thin needles that are gently inserted in the lining of the vaginal wall. A pain-free radiofrequency current is delivered through each pin, creating a localized thermal injury that heals with new, more youthful tissue.

The new tissue that forms contains new collagen, elastin, ground substances and support tissues to produce the enhanced tightening for the lax vagina, as well as enhanced tone. New mucinous secreting cells also form to provide more lubrication, decreasing dryness, irritation and pain during intimacy.

The Fractora V is performed in a 360-degree fashion withdrawing gradually until the entire vaginal side walls, floor and ceiling have been treated.

How to Prepare for Fractora V

Fractora V treatments require little preparation from patients. However, it is advised that sexual intercourse is avoided 24 hours prior to treatment, and for 2-3 weeks after. All anti-inflammatory drugs and Asprin are avoided 3 days prior, and the treatment should be avoided during menstrual bleeding or just prior to.

What to Expect After Fractora V

Aquaphor is applied for 5-7 days after a Fractora V treatment. Patients may experience some very mild degree of vaginal discharge over several days, but this dissipates quickly.

Following a series of three treatments, patients are recommended to begin a non-ablative maintenance treatment (FORMA V or the ThermiVA) once every 3-4 months to achieve the best results.

Some women will notice immediate results following a Fractora V session. However, because the treatment is designed to gradually build up collagen and elastin production, it can take several weeks for final results to show.

Fractora V Recovery & Timeline

Each Fractora V treatment comes with no significant recovery period. Patients may experience some sensitivity in the hours that follow, but patients can return to normal daily activities immediately.

Best Procedures Paired with Fractora V

Many Toronto Vaginal tightening patients undergo other, “adjunctive” vaginal rejuvenation procedures at the time of the vaginal reduction. Common adjunctive vaginal rejuvenation procedures include Labia Augmentation, G-Shot procedures, Labial Reduction and laser hair removal of the Mons Pubis.
